Cathy Annese
Cathy has many years experience in teaching adults on various software and hardware products. Cathy has been with the University since 2001, having first been hired for her accounting knowledge and experience, useful for the Banner Finance/HR system implementation. Cathy has been with the CIS Training Center since October 2004 and leads all the Banner Finance; HR and Student classes. She also leads the Outlook classes to USNH staff and faculty. Cathy is a member of the CIS Call Center and provides first level technical support to UNH students, faculty and staff.

Petr Brym
Petr Brym works in Computing and Information Services at UNH in Durham as the Information Technology Security Officer. Petr’s responsibilities include providing leadership in establishing policies, standards, and best practices in the following areas of information technology security: technology deployment, identity management, privacy, disaster and emergency preparedness, including educational programming and response to security breaches and incidents. Petr also chairs the CIS IT Security Committee and Disaster Recovery Committee, coordinates the USNH LRTP Identity Management and Vulnerability Testing projects, and assists with other related projects.

If you've just gotten your first Mac, this session is for you. We will go over the basics and explain some of the biggest differences between working on a windows computer and a Mac.

Katherine Derby
Katherine is an experienced technology instructor; having taught computer classes for high school, college, and adult students. She is a regular instructor for a variety of Computing @UNH Series classes, and special "on demand" classes/seminars/conferences. Currently, Kathi serves as the CIS Training Center Coordinator developing new curricula and working with UNH offices to develop and deliver personalized training.
In addition, Katherine is part of the CIS Publications Group as writer and web/graphic designer for the CIS newsletter for UNH Faculty and Staff, "Signals," and the award-winning on-line publication, "Pipeline," for UNH Students.

WebI classes are taught by members of the ECG Management Reporting Team who are responsible for the development of the corporate reports demonstrated during class. Instructors have strong training and customer service backgrounds and enjoy working with adult learners on how to use WebI reporting to become more efficient in their jobs.

New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Nashua, NH staff The CIS Training Center is pleased to have a partnership with the New Horizons Computer Learning Center to provide instruction for application courses. Fees for these classes is at a substantial discount compared to similar courses offered at their facility in Nashua, NH. This low-cost, high-quality instruction program has been an essential component for professional/technical development for many years. Classes are open to all UNH staff, faculty, and students. We also allow employees of not-for-profits, federal/state/local municiple employees, and educators (K-Higher Ed.) to take advantage of our program.
